Japan’s Used Tire Recycling Rate Drops Five Percentage Points in 2021

The Japan Automobile Tyre Manufacturers Association (JATMA) has released figures on the recycling of used tires for calendar 2021. According to these figures, last year saw Japan generate 91 million used tires, up by 5 million year-on-year, or 987,000 tons by weight, up by 50,000 tons.
